What have they done?

I did this piece about the horrors of Genetic Engineering (GMOs or Genetically Modified Organisms) and what it is doing to our health, the health of our animals, our environment and our food supply. If you eat prepackaged foods, you have been consuming GMOs without even knowing it. That's right, it's not even on the label. PLEASE go to these two websites Non-GMO Project and Responsible Technology to educate yourself on what is happening.

  2. I've actually for the past couple of years been training myself to stay away from pre-packaged foods and so far so good. I'm looking forward to whatever years I may have left and it most definitely includes all the veggies we grow in our garden. Thanks for sharing this post. Have a great weekend.

  3. This post makes me very happy! I've been trying to tell people about the dangers of GMO's for years, no one wants to listen..but keep doing what you are doing.
The information is out there if people choose to look for it. I try to only buy Non-GMO whenever possible. It's everywhere though, makes me sad for what our world is turning into.
Your painting is lovely and meaningful.

thanks so much for dropping by my blog, I love words in art too...but opted to keep my painting as is. The next one may have words though

  6. hi Karen, thanks for stopping by my blog. Yes the new painting is on wood, and I too love woodburning! I forgot to mention it in the post...although I'm still not smooth with it after all this time. I wonder if it's the wrong nib? I'm using the standard one, but I have some different points in the package I should try out one of these days

    have a great holiday season!

  7. Yes, it's so much easier to eat raw, but ... still issues with that ... so it comes back to growing your own food and the city ... I do not leave links on my blog comments ... but there is some HOPE
